Cooper is the Dean of the Global Leadership Academy for Human Rights Advocacy in Geneva, Switzerland and Lecturer at the University of Hawai'i. Cooper is interested in issue of human rights, sustainable development goals, indigenous peoples and climate justice. Cooper is involved in initiatives to assist peoples movements from the the ground to the General Assembly in global human rights mechanisms to the 2030 Agenda and Paris Agreement.
