The Hon Lisa Singh is Head of Government Advocacy Australia-Pacific at Walk Free, an international human rights organization working to end modern slavery globally within our generation. She is a former Australian Senator who was instrumental in the policy development of Australia's Modern Slavery Act. She is also a former Tasmanian Government Minister for Workplace Relations. Ms Singh has been a long time human rights advocate for migrants and refugees. She also has familial connections to Fiji. Her grandfather Ram Jati Singh OBE was a member of the Fiji parliament.
