Agni Mentaki Tripodi is a consultant on Business and Human Rights. For the last 6 years, she has have been working in the Business and Human Rights field with governmental, international non-governmental organizations (NGOs), as well as with academic institutions in South East Asia/Philippines region and the Russian Federation.
In 2017, she co-authored a book on Business and Human Rights titled “People and Profits, A Guide on Business and Human Rights for NGOs” published in the Philippines by the University of the Philippines Law Center, Institute of Human Rights. The guidebook was created in order to equip NGOs, Civil Society and related stakeholders with fundamental knowledge and principles on Business and Human Rights. The book also provides Human Rights Due Diligence and Impact Assessment tools and frameworks that can be used to make sure that the business sector upholds its duty to respect Human Rights in business operations.

Currently, she is a Visiting Lecturer on Business and Human Rights at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), where she developed and deliver a course and a series of lectures on Business and Human Rights, CSR and Sustainability for the students of the Institute of Law and National Security (ILNS) of the Academy.

She is a Co-Founder of the peopleandprofits.org, an online community on Responsible Business and Human Rights. Peopleandprofits.org is a mission and passion-driven organization with the mission to to empower Human Rights advocates, strengthen corporate accountability and advance cross-sector collaboration to: Promote the respect of Human Rights in Business Operations and Add shared value for Business and Society.
